This is a recipe for making a dry shrimp curry, also known as “chemmeen varattu”

Preparation
The process involves heating oil in a pan, adding mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, ginger, and garlic . Once they splutter, onions are added and sautéed until golden brown . Then, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder are added and stirred well . Tomatoes are added next and cooked until they turn mushy . The shrimp is then added and cooked until the water content evaporates completely.
