Broasted chicken
Ingredients
Chicken leg pieces-1 kg
milk- 1 1/4 cup
vinegar- 1 1/4 cup
pepper powder-1 tbsp
kashmiri chilly powder-1 tbsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
baking soda
maida-2 cup+ 1 cup
chilly powder-1 tbsp
salt
egg-3
corn flour-3 tbsp
water
Preparation
Clean and wash one kilogram of chicken leg pieces. You can use other cuts of chicken or keep the skin on if you prefer.Prick the chicken all over with a fork to allow the marinade to penetrate the meat.In a bowl, combine 1.25 cups of buttermilk (or yogurt), 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon of Kashmiri chili powder (or ½ tablespoon of regular chili powder), 1 tablespoon of ginger paste, and 1 tablespoon of garlic paste.Add ¼ teaspoon of baking soda, enough salt (about 1 ½ teaspoons), and another 2 tablespoons of vinegar (or lemon juice). Mix everything well.Marinate the chicken in the mixture, making sure all the chicken pieces are submerged. This will make the chicken juicy and tender.Fry the chicken pieces over medium heat until golden brown, about 15 minutes.Drain the chicken from the oil.The video claims that the roasted chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It recommends dipping the chicken in mayonnaise for additional flavor.
