Shallot curry for dosa and idli

Prepare this simple curry as side dish of dosa and idli, instead of sambar and chammanthi

Ingredients

coconut oil

mustard

fenugreek

cumin

shallots-20

garlic-5

green chilly-3

curry leaves

turmeric-1/4 tsp

chilly powder-1 tsp

sambar powder-2 tsp

hing-1/4 tsp

tomato-3

water

salt

gram flour-2 tbsp

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard to pop, then add fenugreek, wait until it roast, then add whole shallots , saute it well, then add garlic, green chilly and curry leaves, mix well, now add masala powders, once the raw smell gone add tomato, cook it well, then pour hot water, add required salt, then let it boil well. Mix water and gram flour in a bowl, then pour it to the pot, boil it again until it become thick, then turn off flame.
