Kerala Special Chicken Peratt

INGREDIENTS

chicken – 1/2 kg

coriander powder – 1 1/4 tspn

garam masala – 1tspn

turmeric powder -1/4 tspn

chilly powder -1 1/2 tspn

pepper powder -1 tspn

salt for taste

curry leaves

coconut oil

vinegar -1 tspn

ginger garlic -2 tspn

onion -2

shallots -5

green chilli -2

coconut pieces -for taste

Preparation

In a clay pot, add chicken, then add masala powders, salt, lemon juice and curry leaves, marinate it well, then keep aside for 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic, then add onion, saute it well, next add green chilly and curry leaves, add salt and saute it until it become slightly brown, next add coconut pieces, after that add chicken. Cover the pan and cook chicken well. Once it cooked enough, add curry leaves and coconut oil.
