Traditional Kerala recipe Chakka Ada

Ingredients

jaggerry

jackfruit

water-1/2 glass

coconut

wheat flour

cardamom powder

ghee

Preparation

Melt jaggerry with water. Gring jackfruit pulp and make a paste. In a large bowl, add wheat flour, jackfruit pulp, cardamom and coconut, then pour jaggerry juice, mix it well with your hand and make a stivky dough. Take banana leaves, add a little quantity of the prepared dough, cover it properly, then steam it well.
