INGREDIENTS
Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
Cheriya ulli (shallot) – 5 to 8
Curry leaves – as required
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Green chilli – 4
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 4 tsp
Coriander powder – 4 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Tomato paste – small size (4)
Salt to taste
Kudampuli (Brindle berry) – 2 piece
Coconut milk – half coconut
Mango – 1
Drumstick – 1
Fish – 1kg
Fenugreek powder – 2 pinch
Coriander leaves as required
PREPARATION
Heat some coconut oil in a clay pan and add shallot (cheriya ulli) cook it until golden brown add some curry leaves and ginger garlic paste and cook until it lose freshness after that add some green chilli …then add some turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and coriander powder and cook it for a while after that add the tomato paste (small size 4 tomato) add salt to taste after a while when it comes to boil add the brindle berry (kudampuli) water which was soaked 5 min in hot water let it sit for a while …after that add coconut milk and wait until it comes to boil after that add mango and drumstick to it again let it sit for a while ..now add the fish to the clay pan and wait for 10 min. After 10 min pour some coconut oil on top of it and garnish it with some coriander leaves. You yummy and tasty mango drumstick mackerel fish curry is ready.
