Kappa Puzhukk

Ingredients for Kerala style kappa kuzhachathu

cassava / tapioca

salt

grated coconut

shallots

garlic

turmeric

cholli powder

green Chilli

curry leaves

oil

salt

mustard

dry red Chilli

shallots

curry leaves

Preparation

Clean tapioca, then chop it into small pieces, after washing well, boil it until it become soft. Crush coconut with shallots, garlic, cumin, turmeric and chilly powder. Take cooked tapioca in a pan, or remove water completely from the pan, then add crushed coconut, mix it well, finally, season it with mustard, dry chilly and curry leaves, serve the dish with black tea.
