Traditional Kerala Ifthar recipe Rava kaachiyath
Ingredients
ghee – 1 tsp
semolina- 3 tsp
milk- 1 1/2 cup
cardamom-3
sugar
shallots- 1 tsp
cashews and kismis
Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan, add semolina, roast it well, then pour milk, stir it well until it become cooked, next add sugar and cardamom, mix it well, then turn off flame. Roast shallots, cashew and kismis, then add it to the rava kanji.
