Kadala curry

Tasty chick pea curry, delicious more than meat curry…

Ingredients

chickepea-1/4 kg

turmeric

salt

water

oil

cardamom, cinnamon, pepper

ginger garlic

fennel

onion-1

coconut

coriander powder

kashmiri chilly powder

mustard

shallots

dry chilly

curry leaves

garam masala powder

Preparation

Soak chicke pea overnight. Then cook it in a pressure cooker with salt, turmeric and water. Heat oil in a kadai, add whole spices first, then add onion, ginger, garlic and coconut, roast it well, next add masala powders, mix everything well, then turn off flame. Grind the coconut with some cooked chickpea. Heat oil in a pan, pop mustard, then add shallots chopped, curry leaves and dry chilly, roast it well, then add coconut paste with required water, let it boil well, now add cooked chickpea, boil it again well, finally add garam masala powder, then turn off flame.
