A tasty curry with Ivy Gourd..
Ingredients
Ivy gourd
ginger garlic-2 tsp
tomato-1
onion-1
green chilly-2
tamarind
coconut oil
coconut
chilly powder-1/2 tbsp
turmeric
fenugreek powder-1/2 tsp
curry leaves
Preparation
Chop ivy gourd into thin slices. Heat oil in a clay pot, add chopped ivy gourd, saute it well, then keep aside. Add ginger and garlic to the clay pot, saute it well, then add onion, tomato and green chilly, saute all well, add ivy gourd into it, grind coconut with turmeric and chilly powder, then add to the pot, add enough water and salt, let it boil well. Finally add fenugreek powder and season it with curry leaves and fenugreek.
