This is a Traditional recipe of Kannur, lets see how to prepare it.
Ingredients
for maida batter
maida-1/2 cup
sugar-1/4 cup
milk-1/2 cup
water-1/2 cup
For egg mix
egg-3
turmeric-1/4 tsp
sugar-4 tbsp
cardamom-3
ghee
kismis
black cumin
Preparation
Take a mixie jar, add maida , milk, sugar and water, blend it well, then pour it to a bowl, next add egg, cardamom and sugar to a bowl, blend it again and pour another bowl. Take a cake tin, apply ghee, pour 1 laddle of maida mix, steam it well, then pour egg mix 1 laddle, sthem again, continue this until the batter finish, apply ghee in between the layers, on the top add raisins and black cumin, after steaming done remove it, then cut it.
