Many people don’t eat paava curry because of its bitterness, but if it is prepared in this way, even children will like it.
Cut one papa into small pieces and add it to the papa in an earthen pot along with two green chillies, one chopped onion, one tomato, turmeric powder, chilli powder, tamarind water, mix all these and boil well. While cooking, add a little more water, add two or three cloves of crushed garlic and curry leaves, mix well and boil again. When it boils well and the gravy thickens up, you can season it with mustard and curryleaves.
