A healthy breakfast drink can be prepared with ragi without adding of sugar, or jaggery, with good taste and sweetness.

First take 10 almonds and 10 cashews in a bowl and keep them soaked. Another bowl can be soaked with two teaspoons of sabja seeds. Next, add two tablespoons of ragi powder to a large pan. Add a cup of water and mix well. Then put it in a stove and make a thick porridge. Now add the soaked almonds and cashew nuts to it in a mixing bowl and add the thickened ragi, some milk and soaked dates. Grind everything well, add a little milk and grind it well and then add couscous and serve.
