Ingredients

• Mackerel – 1/2 kg
• Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
•Walanpuli – Gooseberry size
•Chopped small onion – 1/4 cup
•Ginger chopped – 1 tbsp
•Garlic Chopped – 1 Tablespoon
•Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
•Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1& 1/2 Tablespoon
•Fenugreek powder – 1/4 tsp
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
• Small onion – 15
•Garlic – 5
•Mustard – 1/2 tsp
•Curry leaves – few
•Green chillies -3
•Tomato – 1
•Hot water – 1 glass
•Salt – as needed

How to prepare

• Wash and clean the fish and cut it into small pieces and set aside. Take another pan and pour one tablespoon of coconut oil in it, Then add 15 small onions and 5 garlic and saute well. After boiling, add half of a chopped tomato. Then put the powders in it half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, half a teaspoon of coriander powder, Kashmiri chili powder, half a tablespoon, half a tablespoon regular chilli powder and quarter teaspoon of fenugreek powder and fry it for a while. After that you can turn off the flame and after it gets hot put it in a small jar of mixer and grind it well. •Take a lemon size tamarind and add some water and squeeze it and keep the water ready. After that, pour a tablespoon of oil in the fish pan and add half a teaspoon of mustard and after it crackles, add a tablespoon of chopped ginger and a tablespoon of chopped garlic. Add a quarter cup of chopped onion and saute it a little. Then add the other half of the tomato Add some more curry leaves and saute well again. We can add the mixture that we grinded earlier and fry it again, After that pour more tamarind water and if necessary you can pour some more water. After everything boils well, add the prepared fish pieces. It can be swirled and cooked. Then add curry leaves and keep the curry closed for some time. Delicious mackerel chili is ready.
