Idli is One of our staple breakfast dishes, steamed idli is very healthy as well as tasty. Idli is prepared by grinding rice and urad dal the day before but without adding rice it is possible to add rice flour to make a nice cottony soft idli.
Ingredients:-
Whole Urad dal/ Black gram-¾ cup
Fenugreek seeds -½ tsp
Ricepowder -2 cups
Cooked rice -1 tsp
Salt-½ tsp
Water
First, you can add the furad dal to a bowl, add fenugreek seeds and wash it well, after pouring water again, you can keep it in the fridge. After soaking for 6-7 hours, take the dal from the fridge and add it to the mix jar and grind it well. Take the rice flour in a bowl and pour water and mix it and add it to it and beat again and then transfer the flour to another bowl. Add enough salt and mix it tightly and keep it aside for 12 hours. Take it out the next morning and make idlis.
