Non roasted raw rice flour 1 Cup
Maida ¼ Cup
Sugar ¼ Cup
Thick coconut milk ½ Cup
Ghee 1 Table Spoon
Coconut Oil For deep fry
Preparation
Soak one cup of raw rice for 4 hours and then grind and sieve it to a fine powder. Take one cup of ground rice and add ¼ cup of maida and mix well. Add sugar, pinch of salt, coconut milk and ghee and mix well. Add some water if needed and mix well again. The batter must be thick in consistency. Dip hot Achappam mold in the batter and fry in medium flame.
