Steamed Ifthar Snacks

Different types of Ifthar snack which are cooked in steam

First recipe is prepare with green gram. Cook green gram first, then prepare a mix with jaggerry , green gram, rice flour and cumin seeds powder, then make small balls with this mix, then cook it in a steamer.

Second recipe is with banana. Prepare a batter with banana, sugar and cardamom, add rice flour into it, mix well and make a dough, take the dough in your hand, flatten it, add any sweet filling, then fold it, steam it well. You can shallow fry it also.

Next a very easy recipe, first prepare a masala filling with onion, ginger, garlic, chilly and some masalas. Prepare a maida dough, and make small chapathis, add filling, fold it like cutlet, then shallow fry it.

Make ada with this same onion masala and some cheese.
