For dough
soaked rice-1 cup
green chilly -2
grated coconut
fennel-2 tsp
ginger
turmeric-1/2 tsp
onion-1
rice flour
Preparation
Fry fish, then keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, green chilly and curry leaves, saute it well, next add ginger garlic paste, after mixing it well add masala powders, combine all , add a little water, once it completely absorb turn off flame.
Grind rice with coconut, ginger, green chilly, fennel, turmeric and onion, add water, grind it into fine batter, pour the batter to a bowl, add rice flour to the batter, mix it well, add more rice flour to the batter , make a soft dough, apply this above the banana leaf, add fish and masala, then fold it, finally, steam it well.
