Kozhukkattai

Ingredients

Jaggery – 3/4 cup

Water – ¼ cup

Grated Coconut – 3 and 1/2

Cumin seeds – 2 Teaspoon

Cardamom powder – 2 Teaspoon

Dried Ginger powder – 1 teaspoon

Roasted Rice Flour – 2 cups

Salt – ½ Teaspoon

Coconut oil – 1 teaspoon

Sugar – 1/2 cup

Water – 1/4 cup

Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin, then add jaggerry, coconut and water, cook it until it become thick, now turn off flame and let it cool. Prepare sugar filling like this.

Take a bottom thick pan, add rice flour, water, salt, sugar and oil, mix it without lumps, then turn on flame and mix it well, cook until it become dough consistency, then let it cool down, now take small portions from it, flatten it in your palms, add filling, then cover it , make ball shape. Finally steam it well.
