Ingredients
raw rice -1cup
salt -1/4tsp
cardamon -4
coconut -1/4cup
rice -1/4cup
water-3/4cup
jaggery -150g
water- 3/4cup
baking soda -1pinch
Preparation
Soak rice for 3-4 hrs, then grind it with salt, coconut, cardamom and water, then pour it to a bowl, melt jaggerry, then strain it to the bowl, mix well. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add coconut pieces and shallot chopped, roast it until it become golden brown, then take half of it, and pour the rice batter, add roasted coconut above it, then cover the lid, cook it in low flame for 20-25 minutes, then turn off flame. Once it become cool enough, take it from cooker.
