Vella Paniyaram

Ingredients

raw rice-1 cup

urad dal-2 tbsp

milk-4 tbsp

sugar-1 tsp

salt

For chammanthi

tomato-1

shallots-15

dry chilly

salt

garlic-5-8

oil

mustard

dry chilly and curry leaves.

Preparation

Soak rice and urad dal together for 2-3 hrs, then grind it with milk, salt, sugar and some water, make a smooth batter, transfer it to a bowl. Heat oil in a pan, pour the batter with a small spoon, fry it well.
