Tomato Rice

Ingredients

cooked Ponni rice

Oil

Mustard

Cumin

Urad dal-1 tbsp

gram dal-1 tbsp

dry chilly-4

curry leaves

cashews

green chilly-2

chopped garlic

onion-1

salt

turmeric-1/4 tsp

chilly powder-1 tsp

hing-1/4 tsp

tomato-4

ghee- 1 /2 tbsp

coriander leaves

Preparation

Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard, let it pop well, then add urad dal and cumin, roast it for sometimes, next add cashwes, then add curry leaves, green chilly, red chilly, garlic and onion one bye one, saute all well, add masala powders and salt, after mixing it well add tomato, cook it well, next add cooked rice, mix all well, finally add coriander leaves, then turn off flame.
