Ingredients
oil
urad dal-1/4 tsp
mustard-1/2 tsp
onion-1
ginger crushed
green chilly-2
curry leaves
turmeric-1/4 tsp
chilly powder-1/2 tsp
boiled and mashed potato-2
coriander leaves-1 handful
gram flour-1/2 cup
rice flour-1 tsp
chilly powder
salt
turmeric-1 pinch
hing-1 pinch
water
oil for frying
Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal and mustard, let it pop well, then add onion, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves, saute it all well, then add masala powders, mix until the raw smell gone, next add potato combine all together, add some coriander leaves, then turn off flame.
For batter, add flours, masala powders and salt in a bowl, pour water, then mix it well, make a thick batter.
Divide potato into equal small balls, dip all in batter, then fry it in hot oil.
