Ingredients
raw rice-1 glass
cooked rice-1 glass
salt
water-1 1/2 cup
egg-1
cumin
Preparation
Soak rice for 3 hrs, then grind it with cooked rice , salt and water, make a fine paste. Heat oil in a pan, pour the batter to the oil with a small laddle, fry both sides one minute each.
You can make the same appam, by add egg instead of cooked rice, add cumin seeds for extra flavour.
