Leftover rice Halwa

Rice – 2 cup

Jaggery – 1 cup

rice flour – 4 tbsp

Water – 1/4 cup + 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup +1 tbsp

salt

cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

ghee – 1 tbsp

sugar – 3 tbsp

butter – 1 tbsp

cashew nuts, raisins

Preparation

Take a bowl, add rice flour, then add water, mix it without lumps. Melt jaggerry and keep aside. Grind rice with salt, cardamom and a little water, make a fine paste. Mix jaggerry juice, rice paste, and rice flour mix together in a pan, turn on flame and start stirring, add ghee or butter into it. Caramalise sugar in a pan, then add butter, cashew and kismis, mix all, then transfer it to the halwa mix, continue stirring, add more ghee if required, once it become thick and non sticky, transfer it to a container, tightly press it with a spatula, then keep aside for set it well, decorate it with nuts. Once it set well, cut the halwa.
