Ingredients
raw rice-2 cup
banana-2
coconut-1 cup
sugar-4 tbsp
ghee-1 tbsp
crushed badam
black sesame seeds
jaggerry-250 gm
cooked rice-2 tbsp
cardamom-5-6
Preparation
Soak rice for 4 hrs, then grind it with cardamom, cooked rice and water, make a slightly thick batter. Heat ghee in a pan, add crushed badam , roast it well, then add coconut and banana, saute it for a minute, add sugar and sesame seeds, mix well, turn off flame. Melt jaggerry with water, then pour it to the rice batter, add half of filling to the batter, combine all. Heat an appam pot, pour the batter, add a little filling mix above the appam, then cook both sides.
