Ingredients
moong dal-1 cup
raw rice-3/4 cup
jaggerry-400 gm
milk-1 ltr
cardamom
ghee-3-4 tbsp
salt-1 pinch
coconut pieces
cashew nut-12
Preparation
Melt jaggerry with water, then strain it. Boil milk in a pan. Heat another pan, add washed moong dal , roast it until it turns aromatic, then transfer it to a pressure cooker, add water, then close the lid and cook it well, once the lid is open transfer the cooked rice to another pan, pour jaggerry juice, combine well, then boil it, add cardamom and dry ginger powder, mix well, now add milk, boil it for a second, finally add fried coconut and cashews, combine well, then turn off flame.
