Chicken Biriyani

Ingredients

Chicken -600g. m.

onion -4nos.

oil- 3tbs

lemonjuice -1tsp.

turmericpowder- 1/2tsp.

redchillypowder- 2tsp

corianderpowder- 2tsp

pepperpowder- 3/4tsp.

salt -1/2+3/4 tsp

greenchilly- 4nos.

bayleaf -2nos.

cloves -3nos.

elachi -2nos.

garam masalapowder -3/4tsp.

Basmathirice -400g. m.(2 cup)

water -2 1/4 cup

salt- 1/2tsp

ghee -2tsp

cinnamon

cardamom -3nos.

limejuice -1tsp.

mintleaves- 1/2cup

cashewnuts &Raisins

Preparation

Marinate chicken with masala powders, lemon juice, ginger garlic crushed and salt then keep this in fridge for 1/2 hrs. Fry onions in a pan, and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan , add whole spices, after roasting it well add garlic and green chilly, mix well, then add onion and salt, saute it well, then add coriander powder, mix it with masala, next add chilly powder, mix again, next add pepper powder, then add marinated chicken and water, combine all, then cook it well.

Boil water with salt, lemon juice, fried onion, cinnamon, oil and bay leaf, once it boil well, add 1/2 hr soaked rice, cook it about 90 %.

Add fried onion to chicken masala, then mix it, add pudina leaves above the chicken, then add cooked rice, add fried onion, pineapple essence, and mint leaves above the rice, dum it for 20 minutes. Then serve it.
