Kunji Kalathappam

Ingredients

for appam

raw rice-3 laddle

cooked rice-1 laddle

sugar-3 tbsp

cardamom powder

salt

oil for frying

for sweet masala mix

coconut

sugar cooked gram dal

Preparation

Soak rice for 4 hrs, then grind it with cooked rice, sugar, cardamom and a small quantity of water, and make fine batter. Heat oil in a pan, pour batter with a small laddle, fry both sides.

Heat coconut with sugar and mix it with cooked gram dal, then serve it with appam.
