Ingredients
Idli rice-1 cup
active dried yeast-1/2 tsp
lukewarm water-1/2 glass
sugar-2 tsp
coconut-1/2 cup
cooked rice-1/2 cup
salt
Preparation
Soak rice for 3-4 hrs. Prepare a mix of lukewarm water, sugar and yeast,keep aside for 5 minutes. Add soaked rice to mixie jar, add cooked rice, coconut, salt and yeast mix and grind it into fine batter, transfer this into a bowl. Pour hot water to a pressure cooker, then place the batter bowl to cooker, cover the cooker and keep aside for 10 minutes. Heat appam chatti, pour batter, round it, then cover the pan, after 1 minute, transfer it to a plate.
