Ingredients
shallots 10
onion 1
cucumber 1 piece

sambar parippu 1/2 cup & 1/4cup
salt
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
coconut oil 2 tsp
curry leaves
for masala
chilli powder 1 tsp
kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp
coriander powder 1 tbs &1 tsp
Fenugreek powder 1/2 tsp
cumin seed powder 1/2 tsp
khayam small piece
for seasoning
coconut oil 1 tbs
mustard 1 tsp
Fenugreek 1/4 tsp
cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
curry leaves and coriander leaves
hing powder
Fenugreek powder 1/4 tsp
Preparation
Add dal to a pressure cooker after washing well, then add turmeric, salt and water and cook it for 2-3 whistle.Heat a claypot, add coconut oil, then add onion,shallots and curry leaves, mix it with oil, then add whole veggies except okra, saute it well, next add water, and tamarind juice, then cook it well, next add cooked dal,next add masala powders,salt, and hing, after boil it well add okra and coriander leaves, boil it again.Finally , for seasoning, heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard, and fenugreek, let it pop well add cumin, curry leaves,coriander leaves,fenugreek and hing powder, after mixing well pour it to the sambar.
