Maida-1 kg

sugar-2 tbsp

Milk-200 ml

oil

salt

water-400 ml

Preparation

Take maida in a bowl, add salt and sugar, mix with a spoon, then mix milk and water and pour it to the maida, knead it well with your hand, cover the dough with a wet cloth for 10 minutes, then transfer the dough to a counter top, knead it about 10 minutes continously, spread oil above the dough, cover with a cloth, then rest the dough for 3 hrs.After that take the dough and knead it again, then divide it into equal balls, flat the balls with a chapathi roller or hand, pour oil into it and make maximum thin layer, then spread maida above it, then cut it with a dough cutter, next set all layers and roll it, again flat it, after the making is done cook porota in a tawa, finally tap porotta with heat.
