for masala
fish-4(ayala) marinate it with tamarind, chilly powder and salt

ginger garlic crushed
coconut oil-2 tbsp

tamarind juice-1 tbsp
turmeric-1/4 tsp
chilly powder-4 tsp
curry leaves
for dough
raw rice soaked
onion-1
fennel-2 tsp
turmeric-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-2 tsp
coconut
salt
rice flour
oil
Preparation
For masala, heat a pan, add coconut oil, allow it to heat well, next add onion, saute it well, next add ginger garlic, green chilly and tomato, saute it all, next add masalas and tamarind juice, mix all together, add water and salt boil it well, next add fish, cook it well, once the gravy become thick turn off flame.
For dough, grind soaked rice with coconut, fennel, masalas, onion, salt and water, then pour it to a bowl, add rice flour, knead it well and make a soft dough, take a banana leaf, brush it with oil, add the dough, spread over the leaf with your hand, add filling, then fold it, after doing this steam fish ada in a steamer.
