• Rice flour – 2 cups
• Gram flour – ½ cup

• Cumin seed — 1 teaspoon
• Asafoetida powder – ¼ teaspoon
• Salt
• Water
• Oil
Preparation
Take a bowl, add rice flour, gram flour, salt, butter, cumin and hing powder, mix well, add water gradually, then knead it well and make a soft dough, take idiyappam press with star mould, grease it with oil, then fill the dough, press it to the hot oil, fry the murukk well.
