INGREDIENTS –
BROKEN WHEAT – 3/4 Cup
Water – 3 Cups
For Payasam Preparation –
Cooked and drained Broken wheat
Milk – 500 Ml
Sugar – 1/2 Cup ( Depends on your taste)
Cashew nuts and Raisins
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 Tsp ( Optional)
Ghee – 1 Tbspn
Caramel Preparation –
Sugar – 5 Tbsp
Butter – 1 Tbsp
Condensed Milk – 2 Tbsp
Preparation
Heat a pan, add ghee, once it melts well roast cashews and kismis and keep aside. In the same pan add cooked wheat, after mixing well add milk, boil it, next add sugar, stir well. In another pan, caramalise sugar, then add butter and milkmaid, after mixing well add to the payasam, mix all well, finally add roasted cashews and kismis.
