Sardine fish fry with special masala

Sardine – 1/2 kg

green chilli 7 with seeds and 7 without seeds

Ginger – 1 small ps

Garlic – 5 big cloves

shallots /small onion – 4 to 5

fennel seeds – 1 tsp

turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Lime juice – half of one ”

pepper – 1 tsp or more

curry leaves

salt

water 2 tbsp

Coconut oil 3 to 4 tbsp accordingly for shallow frying

Preparation

Take a mixie jar, add green chilly, ginger,shallots,garlic,fennel seeds,pepper corn,turmeric,salt, curry leaves,lemon juice and water, grind into fine paste. Marinate the fish with the masala, rest for 30 minutes, then shallow fry it.
