Ingredients
raw rice-2 cup
cumin-1 tsp
cardamom-5-8
jaggerry-300 gm
water-2 1/2 cup
maida-1 cup
banana-4
coconut pieces
ghee
black cumin seeds
salt-1 pinch
baking soda-1/4 tsp
Preparation
Soak rice for 4 hrs, then grind without water. Add cumin and cardamom in rice for grinding. Melt jaggerry and add to the rice flour, add 1 cup of maida, mix well, add banana paste, after mixing well rest for 6-8 hrs. Add black cumin, roasted coconut pieces, salt and baking soda, mix well and make soft unniyappam.
