mackerel( ayala)-1/2 kg
shallots-20 nos
tomato -1
green chilly-3
curry leaves
coconut oil-2 1/2 tbsp
kashmiri chilly- 1 tbsp
chilly powder -1 tbsp
turmeric- 1/2 tsp
tamarind juice -1/4 cup
preparation
for make masala add shallots into a blender, along with add half tomato, kashmiri chilly, chilly powder, turmeric, a little water and make a thick paste. Heat a claypot add oil then add chopped shllots and saute well then add chilly, curry leaves, masala mix,and half tomato, once it cooked well add tamarind water and hot water ,salt, add fish after boil the curry and cook well.
