Poha sweet snack without oil
Ingredients:
1 cup roasted aval (flattened rice)
1/2 cup grated coconut
1 cup jaggery syrup
1 tablespoon ghee
1/4 cup chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, etc.)
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
preparation
Roast the aval and coconut in a pan until golden brown. Grind the roasted aval and coconut together in a blender.
Heat ghee in a pan and roast the nuts. Add jaggery syrup and water to the pan and bring to a boil. Add the roasted aval and coconut powder, cardamom powder, and roasted nuts to the jaggery syrup. Mix well and cook until the mixture thickens. Pour the mixture into a greased tray and press down firmly. Let it cool and set for a few minutes.Cut into desired shapes and serve.
