Beetroot Snack
Ingredients:
1/4 kg beetroot, grated
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons maida flour
1 tablespoon rice flour
1 tablespoon gram flour
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/4 inch ginger, grated
Curry leaves or coriander leaves
Preparation
Grate the beetroot and set it aside. In a bowl, combine the salt, turmeric powder, maida flour, rice flour, idli rice flour, gram flour, chili powder, and garam masala powder. Add the grated beetroot, ginger, and curry leaves or coriander leaves to the dry ingredients. Mix well until everything is combined. Take small portions of the batter and shape them into round or oval fritters. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fritters until they are golden brown on both sides. Serve the beetroot fritters hot with chutney or sauce.
