Kannur Orotti ,A unique Kerala breakfast dish. Made with specially prepared rice flour, Soft and fluffy texture.
Often enjoyed with tea or coffee. A popular food in Kannur.
Preparation
Mix Orotti rice flour and salt in a bowl, Gradually add hot water and knead into a soft dough. Roll out small portions of dough into thin circles. Take banana leaves, apply the dough, and spred it over in round shape
Cook on a clay pan with ghee or oil until golden brown. Serve it with coconut milk or chicken curry.
