Raw rice appam for breakfast
INGREDIENTS:
Raw rice – 2 cups

Freshly grated coconut – 1 cup
Cooked rice – 1 cup
Cumin seeds or Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
Shallots – 3 no: s
Garlic – 1 piece
Water – 1.5 cup
Instant dry yeast – ½ teaspoon
Sugar – 1 tablespoon
Salt – 2 teaspoons
Preparation
Soak rice 3-5 hrs, then grind it with coconut, boiled rice, cumin, garlic, yeast shallots, sugar, salt and water and make a soft batter.Rest it for 3-5 hrs. After resting it , heat a tawa well, pour the batter, slightly round it, then wait until bubbles come, cover the pan and cook it for 1 minute, then transfer it to a plate.
