Ingredients:

1 cup wheat flour

A pinch of salt

Water

1/3 cup jaggery, melted in 1/4 cup water

1 1/2 cups grated coconut

2 cardamom pods, powdered

Banana leaf

Ghee

Preparation

Mix the wheat flour and salt in a bowl. Add water gradually and knead into a dough. The consistency of the dough should be soft.Melt jaggery in water. Then add grated coconut and cardamom powder to the jaggery mixture and cook until it thickens. This will be the filling for the Ada.Take a banana leaf and smear ghee on it. Pour the wheat flour dough on the banana leaf and spread it thinly.Add the filling mixture over the dough and fold the banana leaf.Steam the Ada for a few minutes.Once cooked, take out the Ada from the steamer and enjoy.
