Pazham pori also known as ethakka appam is a popular snack from Kerala made with ripe bananas. Banana slices are coated in an all-purpose flour batter and then deep fried. A tasty vegan banana fritters recipe that makes for a good tea time snack paired with a cup of hot chai or coffee.
Ingredients
banana 4 nos
maida 1 cup
rice flour 1/4cup
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
sugar 2 tbs
salt 1/4 tsp
sodapodi 1/4 tsp
curd 1/2 cup
black sesame-1 tsp
Preparation
Take banana, slice it into medium thick layers. Take a bowl, add maida, rice flour, turmeric, salt , sugar, baking soda , black sesame and curd, mix everything well, add water, and make a thick batter, dip banana slices to the batter, and fry it in hot oil.
