ice pathiri is a traditional food which is commonly found in malabar regions now currently it is seen in all parts of kerala . It is known as vintage traditional food. Though traditionally it is exclusively made with Rice flour, ones available in homes , tea stalls and hotels are a mix of Rice flour, This recipe is for all such food enthusiasts who crave for authentic Pathiri. Easily made with simple techniques and step by step in the recipe.
Turn on stove and put a bottom thick pan, add water into it, add salt and let it boil well, add rice flour to the water, mix it with a spatula, turn off flame after mixing finished, then turn off flame, cover the dough with a lid, after sometimes, take the dough and transfer it to countertop, knead it well and make soft. take small balls from it, and flatten it into thin pathiri , then cook it in a pan.
