Achappam is one of the traditional delicacies of Kerala.Achappam is very crispy and is loved by children and adults alike.
Ingredients :
1. 2 Cups raw rice 4 hours soaked
2. Sugar – ¾ Cup (as per taste)
3. Eggs – 2
4. Coconut milk – ¼ Cup
5. Salt – ¼ Tsp
6. Black sesame – 1 Tbsp
7. Hot oil
Preparation
To prepare this, first soak the rice, then put it in a sieve and drain it well.Grind it well in a mixer jar. Add the beaten egg to this and add sugar, coconut milk and enough water to make a fine paste. Pour this into a bowl and mix with a little sesame. Pour the oil to the pan and heat it. Place the mold in it. When it is hot, dip the mold three-quarters of the way in the flour and then place it in the oil.When it comes out of the mold well fried, turn it over and fry it again. Everything can be prepared like this.
