Try a variety sweet curry for idiyappam and appam, which is made with banana and coconut milk.
Ingredients
ghee-2 tbsp
shallots-15
banana-3
green chilly-2
curry leaves
sugar-1 tbsp
second extract of coconut milk-1 cup
thick coconut milk-1 cup
salt
coconut oil
cashews and kismis
curry leaves
Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan, add shallots, saute it until it become golden brown, then add banana and green chilly , saute it again until the banana become soft, next add curry leaves and sugar, once the sugar melts completely pour second extract of coconut milk, boil it well, wait for the curry become thick, then turn off flame and add thick coconut milk. Finally, roast cashews, kismis and curry leaves in oil, then pour it to the curry. Now its ready to serve.
